The Aliens Have Landed!

In Art class, third graders from Room 210 used styluses, iPads, and the animation app Doink to create an animated alien. They drew an original alien in four running poses using the onion skinning technique and then animated their drawing sequence across the stage in a composition entering left and exiting right. After using the iPad to photograph various locations within the school, they combined their photo with their animation. Aliens were a perfect object for third graders, since they study the solar system as part of their science curriculum.
