Students in grade 3 learned about all about symmetry, then set to work creating their own symmetrical medieval goblets or vases. With their iPad, they took a sideview portrait of their partner. They used the app Sketchbook X  to trace their face with the symmetry button turned on, thus creating both sides of the vase. They decorated their project with jewels and colors.
